Joining the organization’s C-Suite, Wissel will focus on M&A, national brand growth with a focus on streamlining company integration
BALTIMORE, MD (April 12, 2021) – Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity BSG), a national leader in integrated technical building solutions, announces today the addition of John Wissel as its Chief Corporate Development Officer/Partner.
Wissel’s main focus will be on merger and acquisitions (M&A), growing the organizations brand across multiple sectors including building automation, HVAC/mechanical and power systems. This will entail deal origination and execution in close conjunction with other members of the Fidelity BSG Executive Leadership team. Over the last several years, Fidelity BSG has acquired companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Gulf Coast and Southeastern parts of the United States and to date, has a total of 10 companies with 26 locations in its portfolio. Wissel will continue these efforts, which will include efficiently streamlining company integration.

Prior to joining Fidelity BSG, Wissel served as a Partner at Calvert Street Capital Partners, a lower middle market private equity fund focused on acquiring and growing owner-operated industrial and technology businesses.
“John’s experience in mergers and acquisitions, especially in the technology sector, will be valuable to the growth of Fidelity BSG as we continue to look for opportunities that will further our national growth plan and bring the best services in integrated building solutions to institutions like healthcare, education, critical building facilities and more,” says Dave Lanphar, LEED AP, CEO/Partner of Fidelity BSG. “We are excited to welcome John to our Executive Leadership Team and growing family. We look forward to the contributions he will make.”
